Quality Engineer – Solid Carbide Cutting Tools
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of solid carbide cutting tools through inspection, documentation, and process control activities. Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
Education:
Diploma / B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
Skills:
o Basic understanding of precision machining and cutting tool applications.
o Knowledge of quality tools and measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, profile projector, etc.).
o Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and quality control processes.
o Good documentation and report preparation skills.
o Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred (But Not Mandatory):
o Internship or work experience in a manufacturing or cutting tool company.
o Exposure to tools like Minitab, SPC, or other quality control software.
o Understanding of GD&T and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
Tool Inspection & Measurement
Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished cutting tools using precision measuring instruments.
Quality Documentation & Reporting
Maintain quality inspection reports and documentation as per ISO standards.
Cross-Team Quality Collaboration
Collaborate with production and design teams to address quality issues and improvements.
Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions
Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
Calibration & Maintenance of Instruments
Ensure calibration and upkeep of measuring instruments like profile projectors, tool makers microscopes, etc.
Audit & Complaint Resolution Support
Support internal audits and customer complaint resolution.
5S & Safety Compliance
Maintain 5S and safety protocols within the quality department.
